In our Autumn term we will be learning all about the locality of our school.

We will be comparing our school with a school in Kenya and comparing the similarities and differences.

We will be learning how to read maps and recognise the four countries of the UK.

We will be looking at the features of Human and Physical geography.

In our writing we will be completing tasks around our text of The Colour Monster Goes to School. We will be working hard on our capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

We will be focusing on the text of the Naughty Bus and looking at how we can use conjunctions to extend our sentences.

In our maths we will be working hard on our counting skills, our number bonds, shapes and place value. We will be using our new power maths scheme to help us with our learning.

In our science work we will be looking closely at the human body, the seasons and also different materials. We will be using our White Rose and Grammarsaurus schemes to help us with this.
